Leslie Eugene 'Les' Sadler, age 64, Joplin, passed away at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Mercy Hospital.
Les was born November 25, 1951 in Joplin to the late Bob Sadler and Norma Jones Sadler and had lived in the Joplin area all of his life.
He worked at Eagle Picher Industries as a press operator for many years. He also worked as Cardinal Scale Manufacturing for several years.
Les was an avid bowler and was a member of the Greater Joplin USBC Hall of Fame.
He is survived by his children, Carrie Lindsey-Hall and her husband, Mike, Joplin, Ryan Sadler, Joplin, Jamie Sadler and his wife, Lindsey, Wyandotte, Jeni Landburg, Carthage, Steven Sadler and his wife, Sydney, Webb City, Dakota Sadler, Riverton; two sisters, Jeannette Sue Holle, Joplin, Vickie Coy, Joplin; one brother, Jim Sadler, Joplin; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Les was preceded in death by a brother, John Sadler.
Services are planned for Monday at Noon at First Baptist Church at 633 S. Pearl. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5-6:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
