Janice Crockford

Janice Kay Crockford, 68, Neosho, died Dec. 4, 2015 at Freeman West Hospital, following a sudden illness. 

Janice was born Sept. 10, 1947 in Pittsburg, KS, the daughter of Clifford W. and Mildred Lee (Jones) Buzzard. She attended Stewart’s School of Cosmetology in Waterloo, IA and graduated from the Neosho Beauty School. She had an associate’s degree, wrote poetry and was a homemaker. 

Janice married George Crockford on Oct. 28, 1967 in Neosho and he survives of the home. Additional survivors include two children, Brian A. Crockford and wife, Sheila of Carthage and Kristin A. Bishop and husband, Stephen of Neosho; four grandchildren, Jacob A. Crockford, Adriana Crockford, Cooper Williams and Fletcher Bishop; her twin sister, Joyce Giberti of Granby and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Keelie Ann Crockford in 1974; her parents and a sister, Sharon Olson.

Graveside Services
Saturday December 12, 2015, 10:00 am at Mayfield Cemetery, Goodman, MO.
