Phyllis Trahan

Phyllis Jean Trahan, age 68 of Joplin, passed away at 9:10 a.m. on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at her home.

Born July 3, 1947 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of the late William (Bill) Dunnivant and Janey Heath Dunnivant. Her husband, William (Bill) Trahan, preceded her in death on April 10, 2015. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Hunter Cartwright. A homemaker, Phyllis loved music and dancing with her husband, Bill. She also dearly loved her cat, "Jazz".

Survivors include her daughter, Stefanie Cartwright and granddaughter, Sara Cartwright, both of Olathe; and a brother, Steve Dunnivant and wife Deborah of Richland, WA.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Parker Mortuary. Inurnment will be in Osborne Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
