Doug Cramer

(From Parker Mortuary)

Douglas Howard Cramer, born July 10, 1955, was always the funniest person in the room. He was the best father, sibling, and son anyone could have asked for. Doug lived and loved to the fullest, with art and music shaping him and the way he interacted with the world. He impressed the importance of being a caring and compassionate person on his sons. Doug wasn’t like anyone else in the world, known by many names like “Jet Black” and “Irving of the Universe”. When the going got weird, Doug turned pro.

Doug passed away on July 14, 2018. He is survived by his mother, Dixie Wolfe, his sisters, Debra, Cristy, and Carrie, his sons, Maxwell, Hugh, and Henry, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Doug was preceded in death by his father, Orville Howard Cramer.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 18 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Parker Mortuary and a celebration of life on Sunday, July 22 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at Wilder’s Ballroom. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the ACLU or your local Democratic headquarters.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
