Kathie L. Spain, age 69, Joplin, passed away at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Freeman West Hospital.
Kathie was born June 17, 1949 in Joplin to the late Estell and Dorothy Clark Daubin and was a lifetime Joplin resident.
She retired from Ducommun LaBarge Technologies in June of 2016 after thirty four years of service. In her free time, Kathie enjoyed reading and shopping. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Kathie is survived by her husband, Rex; a daughter, Sherri Hughes, Carl Junction; one brother, Archie Daubin and wife, Alberta, Vallejo, California; two sisters, Peggy Lewis and husband, George, Stella, Ronda Downey, Carthage; two grandchildren, Hunter and Holden Hughes; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Kathie was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Melton.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
