Carolyn Eckhoff

Carolyn Sue Eckhoff was born on July 28, 1947 and passed on July 21, 2018. Carolyn was in the restaurant business all her life. She worked at Dinner Bell in Webb City and Jesse's Truck Stop where she met the love of her life. She owned her own restaurant called Lucky's and worked at Colonel’s Pancake House for seventeen years and had to give it up when she lost her eye sight to Macular Degeneration.

She married Harold on September 7, 1982. He went home to build a mansion for her with the Lord on March 6, 2018. She was, also, preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Vera Severs; and two brothers, Jack & Gene Severs; one stepson, Troy Eckhoff, and one great-grandson, Matthew Harold Fisher.

She is survived by one daughter, Melinda Milligan and husband Bernie of Joplin; one son, Kevin Eckhoff, of the home and three other stepchildren; one sister, Linda Korb of Neosho, Mo.; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Duenweg Assembly of God Church. Reverend Bill Hobson will officiate. Entombment will be in Ozark Memorial Park Mausoleum. The pallbearers will be Curtis Endicott, Jr., Nathan Jump, Kevin Eckhoff, Michael Fisher, Joe Dickey, and Preston Jones. Honorary pallbearer will be Mindy Fisher.

The visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to the Duenweg Assembly of God Church or the American Lung Association in care of the mortuary.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
