David Glen Hoit, 53, of Monett entered into eternal rest on Sunday July 29, 2018 while at his home in Monett. He was born in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri on February 14, 1965; the son of the late Charles and Dixie Merle (Ritter) Hoit. He was united in marriage on October 22, 2004 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas to Cathy Long; she survives.
He is survived by his wife Cathy of Monett; one son: Kirk Myers of Cowetta, Oklahoma; one brother: Charles Richard Hoit of Diamond; two sisters: Dixie Jean Crim and her husband Gale of Pierce City and Charlene Gibson and her husband Jerry of Blue Springs, Missouri; three grandchildren; one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services for David are being held on Saturday August 18, 2018 at 2:00p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett, Missouri.
Memorial donations for David may be made to Hospice Compassus.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
