Audrey JoAnn Scott, 80, of Pittsburg, Kansas, died on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.
JoAnn was born January 13, 1938 in Columbus to Elmer and Irene (Shanks) Shultz. She graduated from Columbus High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pittsburg.
JoAnn married Wallace R. Scott on March 23, 1956, and was a loving wife and partner until his death in June 2003. JoAnn enjoyed golfing, bowling, and playing cards with friends.
She worked for the Census Bureau and retired after 27 years.
She is survived by her two daughters: Rhonda Rogers, and son-in-law Russ of Independence, MO; Julie Clark and son-in-law Bob of Blue Springs, MO; two sisters; Norma Jean Place of Pittsburg, KS, Carolyn Sue Day of Joplin, MO, three grandsons: Eric Rogers, Jayson Scott, and Max Scott; granddaughter Madison Clark; two great grandsons: Jaxson Scott and Hayes Rogers; two great granddaughters: Remy Rogers and Ivy Rogers.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Randy Scott, and grandson Garrett Clark.
Funeral services will be held on July 30, 2018 at 11 am at Bath Naylor Funeral Home, 522 S. Broadway in Pittsburg. The visitation will be held at 10 am prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow in the New Pleasant View Cemetery, 5907 NE Star Valley Road, Weir, Kansas.
