Thelma Jane Freeman, age 82, of Lamar, Missouri passed away, Monday, July 9, 2018 at Summerfield Assisted Living in Bradenton, Florida.
Thelma was born April 1, 1936 in Milford, Missouri to James Franklin McCulley and Cora Opal Hayward. On the 5th of May 1951, she married Glen Freeman and together they raised three sons. Thelma was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and bowling. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include three sons, Jim and Conny Freeman, Georgia, Jerry Freeman, Lee Summit, Missouri and Randy and Hope Freeman, Bradenton, Florida; a brother, Earl and Susie McCulley Lamar, Missouri; two sisters, Mable Jones, Reeds, Missouri and Ida May Kozial, Joplin, Missouri; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Glen Freeman; two brothers, Bud McCulley, and Bob McCulley; four sisters, Flossie Tuck, Pearl McMackin, Barbara Soden, and Blanch Stevens.
Graveside service will be Saturday, July 21, 2018, 10:00 am at Kings Point Cemetery, Lockwood Missouri. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 7:00 pm Friday, July 20, 2018 at Daniels Funeral Home.
