Charles Zumwalt

Charles R. Zumwalt, Sr. 74, of Anderson, Missouri, entered into his Heavenly Rest on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, in the comfort of his home. Charles was born February 8, 1944, to the late Charles A. Zumwalt and Anita (Stewart) Zumwalt in Lawton, Oklahoma.

He was retired from both Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and McKee Baking. He enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, spending time with his family and working in the plumbing trade with his son Ray. He had a strong faith and love for God and his church family. Charles was a member of First United Pentecostal church in Gravette, Arkansas.

He met and married his lifelong love, Lynn (Green) Zumwalt while attending Oklahoma State Tech. in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He is survived by his three children, Ray of Anderson, Missouri, Amy Crabtree of Alexander, Arkansas and Tammy Ridenhour (Rob) of Gentry, Arkansas; siblings Judy (Charley) Wilson and Arlen (Barbara) Zumwalt; eight grandchildren, Dallas, Meghan, Stormy, Courtney, Zerek, Macy, Gabrielle and Ethan; as well as seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles & Anita Zumwalt- Richard & Virginia Green and a great granddaughter NovaLynn Zumwalt.

Funeral services for Mr. Zumwalt are 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2018, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastors James Wollard and Clinton Willis officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavens Gate Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Ray Zumwalt, Dallas Zumwalt, Zerek Zumwalt, Ethan Ridenhour, Nic Crabtree, Doug Green and Bobby Crow.
