Mrs. Helen Frances Barnes, 80, of Anderson, Missouri departed this life on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at her home.
Helen entered this life on April 30, 1938 in Okmulgee, OK to the late William and Cora (Sory) Guisinger. Helen was the oldest of six children. She married Willie Barnes in Des Moines, Iowa on May 20, 1958 later moving to the McDonald county area in 1977. Helen worked as a school cook for most of her life, she was a sweet loving kind Christian lady. She is loved by many. She was a hard worker and wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She attended Cove Mission of Hope for many years. She was always helping others and thoughtful of others.
Helen was proceeded by her husband of 53 years: Willie Dean Barnes and a son: Willie Dean Barnes Jr.
Helen is survived by a son: Daniel H. Barnes and wife Marline Barnes, a daughter in law: Sherry Barnes, Seven grandchildren: Michelle Campbell, Crystal Wallace, Michael Barnes, Tabbatha East, Abraham Barnes, Rebecca Barnes, Andy Barnes, two step-grandchildren Katie and Michael McAndrews, and fifteen great grandchildren as well as a host of other family and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, July 23, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at the New Bethel Cemetery west of Anderson, Missouri with Brother Bob Cartwright officiating. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
