Ralph Edward Hayes, age 78, of Neosho, MO formerly of Monett, MO. died on Monday, July 30, 2018, at his home in Neosho, MO. Mr. Hayes was born near Aurora, Illinois on Thursday, September 14, 1939. He was the son of James and Irene (Horton) Hayes. Mr. Hayes married Juanita Anderson on Friday, May 17, 1957, and she survives. He was a retired mechanic.
Surviving are the following: his wife, Juanita; three daughters, Angel Hayes of Neosho, MO, Jeannie Hayes of Cassville, MO, and Dove Hayes of Joplin, MO; five sons, Ralph Hayes of Monett, MO, Steve Hayes of Monett, MO, James Hayes of Monett, MO, Jarrod Hayes of Everton, MO, and Heath Hayes of Pierce City, MO; two sisters, Kathleen Hayes of Sarina, IL and Rose Hayes of Sarina, IL; eighteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn Elizabeth, on June 10, 1993.
Mr. Hayes has been cremated at his request under the care of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO.
Memorial Services will be at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at 2:30 PM with Rev. Todd Decker officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital.
