William (Bill) G. Irvin Jr., 67, Seneca, MO, passed away July 23, 2018 at Seneca House Nursing Home after a long illness.
William Gordon Irvin Jr. was born September 2, 1950 in Paulsvalley, OK the son of William (Bill) G. Gordon Irvin Sr. and Virginia Lee (Mailes) Irvin. Little Bill, as he was called by his family and friends, was a 1968 graduate of Seneca High School. He loved to fish, hunt and was a big Chiefs fan and loved to watch Seneca Indian Football. Bill served his country in the United States Army. He worked at the former Irvin's DX station located on Main Street of Seneca. He had his own radiator shop in the DX station and was a great mechanic. Bill also formerly worked for the former Milnot plant in Seneca.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother Virginia (Mailes) Irvin in 2015.
Survivors include his father, William (Bill) G. Irvin Sr. Seneca; one brother Wes Irvin and wife Nancy, Grove, Ok; one sister, Shelly Hoofnagle and husband Hal, Joplin, MO; one daughter, Lindsay Irvin, Chicago, Il; and a host of extend family and friends.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Monday, July 30, 2018 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca with Truman Brady officiating.
The body has been taken for cremation.
