Deborah Lynn Bullard Howard, age 57, Joplin, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Freeman West.
Deborah was born January 17, 1961 in Wichita, Kansas, daughter of the late Excell Edward Bullard and Darlene Webber Bullard. Her family traveled to several locations while she was growing up, and landed in Southeast Kansas as a teen. She worked for La Barge for years, and then earned her degree from Labette County Community College in accounting. She then worked for Mercantile Bank, Safeway Bakery, Ozark Center, and most recently with Vatterott College.
She is survived by her son, Josh Bullard of Joplin; grandchildren, Julia Marie Haney and husband Kreg of Poteau, Oklahoma. and Madelyn Grace Bullard of Malvern, Arkansas; brother, Roger Bullard and wife Brita of Bryant, Arkansas; nieces, Lauren Stroud and husband Doyle of Bryant, and Morgan Ables of Delray Beach, Florida; great-niece, Shayla Stroud of Bryant.
A celebration of life for Deborah will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
