Christopher Micheal "Chris" Franklin, 45 years, of Jay, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Chris was born on December 29, 1972. He was a truck driver; helped work on trucks and trailers with Harold and Shane; took care of the church yard mowing.
He is survived by his adopted mother and father, Harold and Nova Murray; adopted grandmother, Janie Murray; children, Ethan Franklin, Dallas Franklin, Faith Franklin and Gennie Moeller; siblings, Aaron Evans, Alexander Coffey and Jessica Cantrell and a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Chris.
Funeral service for Chris will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 27, 2018 at the Cornerstone Church in Southwest City, Missouri. Sister Helen Ford and Jamie Stick will officiate. Burial will follow in the Saratoga Springs Cemetery in Southwest City, Missouri. Visitation will be held at the Ozark Funeral Home in Southwest City, Missouri on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, the family will receive friends at this time.
