Mildred Irene Tate, age 78, Joplin, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Freeman West Hospital.
Mildred was born October 12, 1940 in Joplin, daughter of the late Charles and Maggie (Carr) Cupp. She grew up in the Spring City area, and attended school in Spring City. She worked several jobs in the Joplin area, most recently she worked for Tyson's Chicken in Neosho from which she retired.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her first husband, B.J. Sisney, husband, Jack Tate, Sr., a son, Dennis Tate, and a daughter, Alicia Tate Harris.
Survivors include her children, Jerry Tate, Jack V. Tate, Jr. and wife Robin of Carl Junction, Elmer D. Tate, Jesse David Tate, and Jacqueline "Jackie" Tate all of Joplin; nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at her home.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
I miss you momma so very much, and I love you more. Life is really hard without you here. I have no family anymore and it makes me sick. Sure do miss you though.
