Mrs. Bonnie Mae Crandall, 67, of Galena, Kansas, formerly of Joplin, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019, at her residence.
Bonnie was born April 16, 1952, in Salem, Missouri, to the union of the late Jesse Edgar and Nancy Ellen (Prater) Turner. She attended schools in and around Salem. On October 26, 1968, she was united in marriage to Ace Leon Crandall and together they shared nearly 40 years before his passing on January 5, 2008. Bonnie enjoyed being a homemaker and caring for her children and grandchildren.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ace; her infant son, Dale Leon Crandall; a brother, Harley Turner; and a nephew, Jesse Robbins.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Richardson, and husband, Burl, of Galena, Kansas; her son, Jerry Crandall, and wife, Trisha, of Joplin, Missouri; five grandchildren, Paige Cates, Mark Crandall, Daniel Lamarr, Stormy Anderson and Beryl Sue Richardson; several great-grandchildren; three siblings, Dale Turner and wife, Candace, and Nancy Marrill, all of Salem, Missouri, and Fredia Bunton of Cuba, Missouri; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Memorial services will be held by the family at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
