Mrs. Darla Kaye Robertson, 47, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri, after a brief battle with cancer.
Darla entered this life on November 29, 1971, in Springdale, Arkansas to Dixie Lee (Conaway) and Russell Dean McKinney. She was raised in Rocky Comfort and attended McDonald County Schools until moving her junior year to Arkansas City, Kansas, where she graduated in 1990.
On August 9, 1991, she was united in marriage to Clayton Robertson and to this union they were blessed with one son, Tyler on June 3, 1992.
Darla loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and riding four-wheelers with her husband, son and family. She was also a lover of all things cows. Not only was she an outdoorswoman, she was also very crafty. She could paint, sew and use a hammer and nails like a pro. Tyler and his wife, Victoria, blessed Darla and Clay with two beautiful grandchildren, Carter Dale and Aubree Kaye. They enjoyed spending as much time with them as they could. Darla was truly one of a kind. She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandma. She was always available to lend a hand or shoulder to anyone in need regardless of situation. She was a great friend to her Newell (Jarden) work family where she and Clay were both employed. She spoke so highly of everyone she worked alongside and was proud to call them family. Darla was a beautiful soul and will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
