Rose Ann Ford, age 51, of Joplin, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Ford, daughter of Ira Dean and Bonnie (Grieve) Herndon, was born on November 8, 1967 in Anaheim, CA. Rose grew up and received her education in Arizona graduating from Casa Grande High School. In 1991 she moved to the Joplin area to be closer to family.
On November 8, 1992 she was united in marriage to Jeff Ford in Joplin. She attained her CNA license and was previously employed with Oxford Health Care. She enjoyed her online social auction group, Joplin Give & Take, but loved being a mother and grandma to her two grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff Ford, of Joplin; her father, Ira Herndon, of Neck City; one son, Jeffery Ford, of Joplin; two daughters, Michelle Harris, and her husband, Micah, of Carthage, and Jessica Ford, of Joplin; two step-daughters, Jennifer Ford and Sara Ford, both of Washington; one brother, David Herndon, of Neck City; and two grandchildren, Teagan Ford and Jaqueline Rivas.
Memorial services will be held at a later date with cremation arrangements under the care and direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory, Joplin.
