Paul Dean Lansdown, 90, of Monett went to be with his heavenly Father on Thursday August 22, 2019 while staying at Aurora Nursing Home in Aurora, Missouri. He was born on December 26, 1928 in Purdy, Missouri; the son of the late Bert and Ethel (Simpson) Lansdown.
He was a retired truck driver and security guard as well as working during his retirement as a door greeter at Wal-Mart in Monett. He was a member of the Log Church in Butterfield, the Masonic Lodge #76 Scottish Rite Valley of K.C. and the Abou Ben Adhem in Springfield, Missouri.
Paul is survived by one son: Bob Lansdown of Raytown, Missouri; two daughters: Darlene Hoit of Diamond, Missouri and Jeanna Snider of Salem, Oregon; five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Paul is being held on Friday August 30, 2019 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri. Funeral services are being held on Saturday August 31, 2019 at 11:00a.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett, Missouri. Burial will follow services at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Butterfield, Missouri.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
