James Earl ‘Jim’ Landrith, age 62, Joplin, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at his home.
Jim was born January 27, 1957 in Carthage to the late Douglas Bryce Landrith and Twyla Nadine Benschoter Landrith.
Jim grew up in Joplin, graduated from Joplin Parkwood in 1975, and worked as a chef for Wilder’s Steakhouse in Joplin for several years. Jim enjoyed playing the drums and had played with several bands throughout the years. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Survivors include one brother, Joe Landrith, Joplin, Missouri; one niece, April; two nephews, Michael and James; and several extended family members.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Landrith.
Memorial services are planned for Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends following the services at the mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
