Mrs. Linda I. Carver, 72, of Pierce City, Missouri, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019. At the Sarcoxie Nursing Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Linda entered this life on April 15, 1947 in Neosho, Missouri to the union of the late Raymond and Ruby (Kelly) Endicott. She was a 1965 graduate of Sarcoxie High School.
After graduation she obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts. For several years she was employed with the Miller School District. She also had owned and operated Lucy’s Coffee Shop and Cafe in Pierce City.
Linda was a hard and dedicated worker and took great pride in all she did. However her greatest joy in her life was her family. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking and taking care of her grandchildren. Through her years of declining health, she never lost her since of humor. She so looked forward to family gatherings and holidays. She was of the Methodist faith. Linda will certainly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Cory Carver, brothers, Sam Endicott and Denny Endicott; sister, Raymah Colley; and nephew, Andrew Carver.
Linda is survived by her husband Glenn; children, Amanda Carver of Pierce City, Angie Kellner (Kirk) of Monett, Chris Carver (Deanna) of Purdy and Clint Carver (Amanda) of Buffalo; grandchildren, Olivia Baker, Cole Baker, Cooper Carver, Allyson Carver, Shellie (Andy) Kepner, Kent (Kelly) Kellner, Shanna Kellner, Kane Kellner, Kaden Kellner, Mallorie (Austin) Hamilton, Morgan Carver, Blake (Kateline) Long, Brendon (Victoria) Long, Dakota Lowe, Dillon (Caitlin) Lowe, McKinnah Hermann (Davey), Taisha Kellner, Febra (Dylan) Dering; twenty-two great grandchildren; brother, Joe Endicott (Kathy) of Sarcoxie and sister, Peggy Conard (Leroy) of Osceola, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Graveside funeral services are 3:30 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Jolly Bethel Cemetery with Pastors Jerry Campbell and Robert Mattingly officiating. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Cole Baker, Kane Kellner, Kent Kellner, Brendon Long, Blake Long and Dillon Lowe. Honorary pallbearers are Dakota Lowe, Kaden Kellner, Sr. Master Sargent Michael Groesbeck and Cooper Carver. Visitation will be from 1-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
