Danny "Dan" Haase, age 72, of Pierce City, MO died on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. Mr. Haase was born in Pierce City, MO on Tuesday, July 01, 1947. He was the son of Earl and Laveta (Davis) Haase. Mr. Haase was married to Sue Gray on August 15, 1997. He graduated from Midway High School in 1965. He was a farmer for many years and loved the Joplin Regional Stockyards where he worked as a fieldman. Mr. Haase enjoyed working with cattle, loved watching his grandkids play sports, loved spending time with family, and enjoyed traveling. Mr. Haase always had a joke to tell.
Surviving are the following: his wife, Sue of the home; one son, Jason (Linda) Haase of Pierce City, MO; two step-sons, Shane (Kristi) Alford of Joplin, MO and Marty (Jessica) Rinehart of Carthage, MO; one step-daughter, Jeri (Chuck) Sailor of Carthage, MO; one sister, Earlene (Bob) Gillman of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Richard Haase of Pierce City, MO; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Haase was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Barbara England (April 21, 1995) and a daughter, Carmen Haase (May 7, 1990).
The family will receive friends at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Funeral Services will follow at 4:00 PM with Kenny Carney officiating. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery in Pierce City, MO. Arrangements are entrusted to the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO.
