She and Bobby enjoyed spending time with the friends they met at National Health Care of Joplin, which they did for over 25 years every Saturday afternoon. She was currently a member of Duenweg Assembly of God.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Ray Cooper, who passed away on January 3, 2013, and a brother, Clarence Ackerson.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Rev. Bobby Cooper, whom she married July 21, 1963; grandson, Bobby L. Cooper of Joplin; great-granddaughter, Halen Sue Cooper of Joplin; brothers, Ronnie Ackerson and wife Linda, and Jack Ackerson and wife Judy all of Joplin; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
