Linda Lou Oberhelman, age 78, of Seligman, Missouri, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born August 13, 1940 in Dows, Iowa the daughter of Earl and Nelly (Paulson) Benton. On July 6, 1989 she was united in marriage to Gene Oberhelman, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents; ten brothers and sisters and one grandson, Zachary.
Surviving are three sons, Randy Crone and his wife Bonnie of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Phillip Morgan and his wife Tanya of Joplin, Missouri and Tom Crone of Seligman, Missouri; three daughters, Nancy Joyner and her husband Lonnie of Chico, California, Penny Gentry of Eureka Springs, Arkansas and Lisa Hudgins of Seligman, Missouri; seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
Linda grew up and received her education in Eagle Grove, Iowa. She then resided in California for a while before moving to Seligman twenty-four years ago. For several years she was employed as a secretary for Vaughn’s Trucking in Monett, Missouri. She was a member of New Beginning Church in Seligman, Missouri.
Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 16, 2019 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, Missouri. Pastor Joe Pride and Phillip Morgan will conduct the services. Burial will be at King Cemetery in Seligman.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
