Stephen Edward Harper, 70 of Anderson, Missouri passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Stephen was born on January 30, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Royce Winfred and Inabella Dott (Garoutte) Harper. He and his family move to the Anderson area in 1954. Stephen had a degree in Electrical Engineering and was an electrical consulting engineer for high voltage transmission.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son.
Funeral services for Mr. Stephen Edward Harper will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2019, in the Peace Valley Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri with Pastor John Beck officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, August 22, 2019, at the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, MO. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Anderson.
