Mat Andrews, Jr. age 68 of Webb City, Missouri passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at his home. He did factory work for most of his life before his illness would no longer allow him to work.
Mat was born on November 18, 1951 in Shelby, Mississippi to Mat Andrews, Sr. and Beulah (Harris) Andrews.
He is survived by his sisters, Vera Mays of Apple Valley, California, Jackie Harris of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Diane Jones of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Mary Love of Jackson, Mississippi; brothers, Lesha Andrews of Shelby, Mississippi, Calvin Andrews of Colorado Springs, Colorado, David Leaks of Las Vegas, Nevada, Norman Andrews of Las Vegas, Nevada; cousin, Pierce Andrews; close friends, Jessica Allen, Leroy Allen, and Connie Allen; along with a host of nieces, nephews and his church family at The Bible Church in Webb City.
Mat was preceded in death by his brothers, Solomon Harris, Booker T. Harris, Robert Andrews and Otis Andrews.
His church family will have a memorial service on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at The Bible Church in Webb City at 11:00 AM with Phil Stotts officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City. Visit www.simpsonfh.com for online condolences.
