Dorothy Willhite, age 80, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at Roaring River Health and Rehab in Cassville, Missouri. Mrs. Willhite, daughter of Carl and Maxine (Balden) Brandt, was born on December 30, 1939, in Monett. She graduated from Monett High School in 1957.
On October 2, 1981, she was united in marriage to Marvin Willhite. She enjoyed her flowers, fishing on Table Rock lake, eating crappie, and watching her humming birds. Mrs. Willhite loved spending time with her family and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband Marvin Willhite, of Aurora; four sons, Lonnie Swaffer, of Wentworth, Donald Swaffer, of Cassville, Randy Willhite and his wife Lenee, of Aurora, and Mike Willhite, of Billings; four daughters, Becky Stephens and her husband Ronnie, of Washburn, Karen Wolf and her husband Aubrey, of Aurora, Carla Wilson, of Maryville, and Jenny Mitchell and her husband Terry, of Nixa; sixteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Sue Davidson, of Monett; her niece, Cheri Davidson and her significant other Chad Kelly, of Monett; and her nephew, Thom Brandt, of Springfield.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by one brother, William Brandt; two sons, Marty Willhite, Sr. and Craig Willhite; and two grandsons, Ronald Stephens and Marty Willhite, Jr.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Lohmer Full Gospel Church in Shell Knob, Missouri, with Pastor David Donaldson officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lohmer Full Gospel Church in Shell Knob and entrusted to the White Funeral Home and Crematory, P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
