L. Dub Miller born Leamon W. Miller 66, of Pittsburg, KS died 12:20am Tuesday June 16, 2020 at his home following an illness.
L. Dub was born October 28, 1953 in Parsons, KS the son of Wilburn “Jack” LeRoy and Perneta Joahn (Shouse) Miller. L. Dub graduated from Girard Schools and was a lifelong resident of the area. L. Dub worked as a mechanic for Millers Kerr McGee Service Station in Girard, KS; the Bacon Plant in Frontenac, KS and worked several years in the oil fields.
L. Dub was of the Christian Faith and was known to enjoy riding motorcycles.
Survivors include his children Nichole Miller of Joplin, MO and Jonathan Miller of McPherson, KS; many friends and several grandchildren.
L. Dub was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside Services will be 11:00am Saturday June 20, 2020 at the Girard Cemetery in Girard, KS with Mike Bright officiating. Family will receive friends from 9:00-10:30am prior to the service at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS.
In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the Abate of Kansas District #3. Friends may drop off or mail memorials to the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 522 S. Broadway Pittsburg, KS 66762. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com.
