Blaze Allen Swank, Sr., age 27, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 in Corona, Kansas.
Blaze was born March 18, 1993 in Pittsburg, KS. His parents were Mark Anthony Swank Sr and Bea Ann (Pitt) Swank. He had lived in Scammon since 2006, moving from Pittsburg.
He graduated from Southeast High School, Cherokee, KS with the class of 2011. He was a handyman. He enjoyed working on cars, bicycles and radios. He would help anyone in need. His greatest joy was when he was with his children.
Surviving is one son, Blaze Allen Swank Jr, of the home; two daughters, Briley Brakebill, and Bailey Swank, both of Joplin, MO; his parents, Mark and Bea Ann Swank, Scammon; one brother, Mark Anthony Swank II (wife, Brittany), Pittsburg,; one sister, Lenna Westervelt (husband) Aaron), Cherokee, KS; his grandmothers, Olga Knapp, Las Vegas, NV, and Fernessa Swank, Liberal, MO; two nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
His grandfather, Charles T Pitt preceded him in death.
Blaze was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, Columbus, KS for cremation. The family will host a graveside service, at 10:30 am Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Hosey Hill Cemetery, Weir, KS
