Clifford “Mug” Clinton Hall, II, age 65, of Washburn, Missouri, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 11, 2020. Mr. Hall, son of Clifford and Valerie Joan (Jack) Hall, was born on December 24, 1954, in Yuma, Arizona. He enlisted in the United States Army and served his country proudly for five years.
Mug was united in marriage to Joyce Bowens; they enjoyed the last forty-two years together. He was known as being old school and opinionated. He enjoyed fishing, camping, shooting guns, and especially riding his motorcycle. Mug, though a burly man, had a heart of gold who took others in as his own; many have adopted and claimed him throughout the years as their “Uncle Mug.”
Mug was very proud of his country and stood strong in what he believed in. He was assistant state captain for the Patriot Guard for many years and a lifetime member of American Legion Post #639. Mug was a dear friend to so many, he had touched so many lives, and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his loving wife, Joyce Hall, of Washburn; four daughters, Teresa Rich and her husband Joseph, of Rocky Comfort, Gina Heath and her husband William, of Indianapolis, Indiana, Milisa Ogletree, of Kirksville, and Michelle Daniels, of Rocky Comfort; thirteen grandchildren, Chloe Rich, Joseph Rich, III, Joshua Heath and his wife Nancy, Shelby Heath, Payton Heath, Valerie Ash, Jonethan Miller, Macen Ogletree, Brieana Ogletree, Malichi McCoy, Ceara McCoy, Destini Anthony, and Dynasti Anthony; four great-grandchildren, LeiLani, Xander, Ezekiel, Parker, and one on the way; one brother, Anthony “Damnit” Allen Young and his wife Afton, of Cassville; five sisters, Delores McCully, and Cristine Mays, both of Kansas City, Rachel Murphy and her husband Chuck, of Seligman, Kimberly Carter, of Kansas City, and Holly Kent, of Bentonville, Arkansas; two uncles who he was very close to, Edward Hall, of Republic, and Ken Hall, of Springfield; his brother in-law, Bill McCulley, of Kansas City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mug was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Anna Marie Hall, and his brother in-law, Daniel Mays.
