Scottie Randall Hackleman, age 70,. Joplin, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020 at National Health Care of Joplin.
Scottie was born October 28, 1949 in Joplin, son of the late Scottie F. Hackleman and Donna Lou (Johnson) Hackleman. He grew up in Joplin, and attended Joplin Schools. He worked as an electrician, and was owner and operator of V & S Electric since its opening in 1983.
Scottie loved being outdoors, whether fishing, hunting, or playing golf. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Scottie was preceded in death by a brother, Don Sweeten.
Survivors include his son, Scottie H. Hackleman and wife Dori of Joplin; granddaughter, Wednesday Hackleman of Joplin; sister, Donna Blevins and husband Jack, and Diana Barchak all of Joplin; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., cremation to follow.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
