Linda Christine Farris age 66 of Carl Junction, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at her home. She was born in Joplin, Missouri to Donald Hoagland and Mary (Hoagland) Tyler on September 6, 1953.
Linda was a para for Carl Junction schools, and was a member of the Webb City High School class of 1971. She loved to garden, and spend time with her family and friends.
Linda married John Farris on July 1, 1977 in Carl Junction and he survives her.
She is also survived by her daughters, Rebecca Farris of Carl Junction, Johna (King) Lawrence and husband Jimmy King of Carl Junction; brother, David Hoagland and wife Rosemary of Carterville; sister, Susan Hoagland of Webb City; grandchildren, Haley Oestmann, Tyler Shoup, Grace Thornton; great grandchild, Finley Oestmann; her mother, Mary Hoagland; and her best friend, Cindy Scholl.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Linda will lie in state between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM at Simpson Funeral Home in Carl Junction on Monday, June 15, 2020. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Carl Junction Cemetery with Reverend Joe Morris officiating.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Integrity Hospice and the Mercy Cancer Center for all the compassion and care they gave Linda.
