William “Willie” Jones, 87, Neosho, MO entered into rest July 9, 2020. He was born March 24, 1933 in Reeds, MO to Clara Edna (Martin) and William “Casey” Jones.
Willie worked at Fort Crowder until it closed, then he worked at Rocketdyne and Teledyne through the 1960s, 70s and 80s. He was the owner operator of the former Radio Shack in Neosho. Willie also served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the Racine Christian Church and enjoyed woodworking and Bible study.
Willie and Patricia (Vance) Jones were married October 4, 1957 in Neosho and she survives of the home.
He is also survived by two children, Jeff Jones and wife, Donna Divine-Jones of Neosho, Tim Jones of Neosho; his former daughter-in-law, Brenda Louise Jones of Oregon; two sisters, Pauline Bliler of Diamond and Virginia Litton of Edmond, OK; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents.
