Leonard Marshall

Leonard L. Marshall was born January 4, 1935 in Kimball, Nebraska, one of eleven children to Harold and Hazel (Taylor) Marshall. He entered into rest on December 6, 2020 in Joplin, at the age of 85. 

Leonard served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. He worked as a superintendent in the oil fields and was a poultry and cattle farmer. He enjoyed working and having a project and enjoyed teaching new things to his grandchildren and instilling a work ethic and he enjoyed new cars. He was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church in Joplin. 

Leonard and Leona Faye (Heiney) were married on April 15, 1961 in Bloomfield, New Mexico and she preceded him in death on September 11, 2017. 








He is survived by two sons, Melvin Marshall of Joplin, Len (Nancy) Marshall of Neosho and Daina (John) Grace of Neosho; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two brothers, Roy K. Marshall of Joplin and Richard Marshall of Kimball, Nebraska and two sisters, Beverly Baker of Vernall, Utah and Margaret Marshall of Kimball, Nebraska. 

In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by six siblings.
