Rosalie Pike

Rosalie J. Pike, 91, of Girard, passed away at 8:15 p.m., December 4, 2020 at her residence in Girard; she was surrounded by her loving family.

Rosalie was born May 8,1929 in Mindenmines, Missouri, a daughter of Jules and Josephine (Phillipart) DeMaire.

She attended school in Mindenmines, Missouri.

On June 8, 1951 Rosalie was united in marriage to Albert Pike in Colorado, Springs, Colorado, he preceded her in death on September 27, 2011.







Rosalie was a member of the First Christian Church in Girard, the S.N.P.J. Lodge. Before moving to Girard, Rosalie was the pianist for the First Christian Church of Mindenmines. She and husband Al were owner and operators of Pike’s Garage from 1959 until 1991. In addition to assisting her husband and raising her family, in her spare time Rosalie also sold Avon.

She loved her family and enjoyed watching the grandchildren participate in their activities. She enjoyed fishing, spending time at the lake and traveling with her husband in the camper.

Rosalie is survived by one daughter Rosemary Mahoney of Girard, granddaughter; Kassie Lynn (Pike) Steele and her husband Strider of Dallas, Texas, grandson; Christopher Warren Pike and his wife Patricia of Girard, Ryan Mahoney and his wife Katie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, great-grandchildren; Breckyn and Xander Steele, Latricia, Matthew, Deanna, Anthony Pike, Keon, Zeke Mahoney and great-great-grandchild Raylynn Howell, one daughter-in-law, Debbie Pike of Girard and Lori Sullivan, close friend and care taker.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rosalie was preceded in death by one son, Warren Pike, son-in-law, Paul Mahoney, and grandson, Matthew Paul Mahoney.

Private graveside services for Rosalie J. Pike will be at the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2020.
