Charlotte Nichols

Charlotte E. Nichols, Neosho, entered into rest on January 8, 2022, in Neosho at the age of 97.

Charlotte was born on January 22, 1924, in Sharon, Wisconsin. She moved to Neosho in May of 1960.

Charlotte began working for the Neosho Public Schools food service, first as a cashier and bookkeeper and then manager until her retirement in 1993. She loved to ride appaloosa horses, go trail riding with her husband and friends, was a former 4-H Leader for many years and was a Balance and Swing Square Dance Club member. 








Charlotte and Glenn Nichols were married on June 23, 1946, and he preceded her in death on October 16, 2015.

She is survived by two children, Penny (Ed) Paul of Neosho and Terry (Pat) Nichols of Kansas City; great-grandson, Jonathan (Kelsea) Paul of Neosho; three great-great-grandchildren, Lochlan, Barrett, and Autumn Paul; her caregiver, Rose Jeffery and her son, Ryan; and a host of dear nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Jeff Paul. 

Private family services will be held at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho with interment in the Neosho IOOF Cemetery. The family will host a Celebration of Life in the Spring.
