Bobby Joe Crowder

Bobby Joe Crowder, age 72, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away at 9:08 a.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at his home. He was born May 1, 1949, in Peoria, Kansas to the late Joe Dean and Mary Belle (Martin) Crowder. On September 16, 2012, he married Shirley Ann Moore in Neosho.

Bobby Joe lived in the area most of his life. He played basketball and baseball when he was young, and even playing with major league stars. Bobby Joe was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1968 until 1974. He worked as a crane operator in Joplin, Missouri and loved to fish, hunt, and sing karaoke.








He is survived by his wife, Shirley, of the home; one son, Rick Crowder and his wife, Tara, of Texas; one daughter, Jodie Dueker and her husband, Kris, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Abby, Jordan, Kylie (Jarrett) Ebner, Knox, Bailey, and Kruz; and two great-grandchildren.

His parents and sister, Beverly Caulk, preceded him in death.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been under the direction of the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, Missouri.
