Davis Scott

Davis Quinton Scott, age 78, of Neosho, entered into rest on January 15, 2022, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family. 

Davis was born September 12, 1943, in Neosho, to the late Oliver Quinton and Mary M. (Shepard) Scott. He was a lifelong area resident and graduate of Neosho High School. 










He worked as a carpenter and then owned and operated, Scott’s Boot and Tack and was a horseshoer. He enjoyed attending Rodeos and roping and was a member of the Burkhart Church of Christ. 

Davis and Cynthia Ruth McCrary were married on November 1, 1964, and she preceded him in death on July 29, 1992. 

He is survived by three children, Tim (Jody) Davis of Anderson, Missouri, Stacia Scott of Neosho, Missouri and Katie Scott of Paradise, Texas; grandchildren, Chaney Scott, Bailey Scott, Wacey Henderson, Kye Rieff and Hunter Davis; great grandchildren, Katie Bell Williams, Louis Kalvin Henderson, Lizzy Paige Rieff and Tryan Davis Rieff; three sisters, Dale Williams, Rilla Scott, and Rosemary Landes; one brother, Edward Scott and partner, Sharon Rodney. 

Graveside services will be Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 10 am at the Burkhart Cemetery, John Anderson will officiate. 

Those serving as pallbearers are Justin Martin, Kye Rieff, Hunter Scott and Bailey Scott. 

The family will receive friends at a time of visitation, Tuesday evening, January 18, 2022, from 5:30 to 7 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
