Janelle Rice

Janelle Lou Rice of Goodman, Missouri, entered into rest on January 12, 2022 in Joplin, Missouri at the age of 68.

Janelle was born July 19, 1953, in Neosho, Newton County, Missouri, the daughter of Donald W. and Lucille (Petty) Rice. She retired from La-Z-Boy in Neosho where she had worked in the sewing department.

She enjoyed bird watching, westerns, music, laughing and making others laugh and her favorite thing was spending time with family. She was a Christian. 

Janelle is survived by her three children, Sean (Stephanie) Lantz of Neosho; Brandon (Rebecca) Lantz of Goodman and Bryanne Zier of Goodman; three sisters, Charlotte Charlton, Sharon (Jerry) Williams and Donna (Bob) Holloway; nine grandchildren, Shayla, Nickoda, Taeahvyn, Kiyomi, Gabriel, Braidon, Zachary, Ahriana and Alyssa and one great grandchild, Lakyn and one due to arrive later this year.

Memorial services will be held on Jan. 24, 2022 at 1 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Neosho.
