Dee Hudspeth

Dolores Ann “Dee” Hudspeth of Miami, OK passed from this life Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Eastwood Manor Nursing Home in Commerce, OK. She was 88.

Dee was born March 13, 1933 in Afton, OK to Levi and Mable (Mustain) Womack. She lived in the Afton and Miami areas for most of her life. 

She married John James “Jim” Hudspeth on March 5, 1951. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Miami, OK. She worked at various bookkeeping and secretarial jobs but mainly she was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother “Nana” and friend to all who knew her.








She was preceded in death by her husband, Parents, 3 sisters, Alena Gardner, Dorothy Weldon and Louise Buxton and 1 brother, Lloyd Womack.

Survivors include her 3 children: Debbie Baxter, James “Steve” Hudspeth and his wife Beth all of Miami, OK, Kent Hudspeth and his wife Ginnie of Joplin, MO, 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren along with a host of loved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 13, 2022 at First Christian Church in Miami, OK. Pastor Leon Weece and Pastor Brian Brubaker will officiate. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery in Afton, OK. Family members will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the Church prior to services.
