Beverly Duke

Beverly Jean Duke, 74, of Joplin, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Beverly was born on December 22, 1947, to Harold Duke and Ava (Martin) Duke, in Neosho, Missouri. She graduated with the Class of 1966 from Carthage High School in Carthage, Missouri. 

Beverly worked for Schreiber’s for 44 years before retiring. One of her favorite past times was cruising around in her 2000 Mustang and attending car cruises and shows around the area. Over the years, she had four fur babies that she loved to spend time with and spoil: Punkin’, Molly, Jazzy, and Coco.

Beverly is survived by her father, Harold Duke of Carthage, Missouri; her sister, Carolyn Chavez and brother-in-law, Ray Chavez; nephew, Brandon Horine; niece, Britney Skinner; great nephew, Cade Skinner; and great niece, Hayden Skinner; and all of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage, Missouri. The visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30 pm until the time of service on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Hazelgreen Cemetery in Boulder City, Missouri directly after the service.
