Jim was born on August 8th 1959. He was a lifelong resident of Granby, MO. He graduated from East Newton High School Class of '77.
Jim was a good ol' boy and would do anything for anyone. Jim always had great stories to tell. When he spoke it was with common sense, wisdom and a sense of humor. He is survived by his wife; Tammy Oxendine, son; Brandon Oxendine (Jolene), daughter; Courtney Oxendine (Lyle), two stepsons; Derek Kissel and Matt Kissel, his grandson; Ethan and 4 granddaughters; Bella, Lucy, Lilly and Zoie. He had 3 brothers; Steve Oxendine, Neil Oxendine and Jimmy Dale Brock, many nieces and nephews and lots of good friends. He was preceded in death by his father; Neil Oxendine and his mother; Gert Webb, and he will be missed by all that new him.
The family will receive friends during a time of visitation on Friday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
