(From Ozark Funeral Home)Aundrea Marie (McKinney) Self, 39, of Goodman, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Freeman West, Joplin, Missouri from an illness complicated by COVID, with her mother by her side.
Aundrea was a shy person but was very caring and giving. She was always thinking of others and loved her family and friends dearly. She brought five beautiful children into the world for us to love. She enjoyed the outdoors and visiting her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Larry McKinney, stepfather Mel Sanders, grandparents Clyde and Mary McKinney, her uncles Steve McKinney and Joseph Tierno III.
She is survived by her boyfriend, Michael Whitely of the home they shared in Goodman, Missouri; five children, Colten Washam, of Anderson, Missouri, Braden McKinney, of Anderson, Missouri, Chase Whitely, of Joplin, Missouri, Lacey Whitely and Nicole Whitely, of Joplin, Missouri; mother June M. Sanders, of Anderson, Missouri; her grandfather, Joseph Tierno of Anderson, Missouri, and grandparents David and Louise Dwyer, of Nashua, New Hampshire; sisters Jamie Whilhite (Rich), of Arkansas, Shanna Sisson, of Anderson, Missouri, Sarah House and family, of Neosho, Missouri, Melody Burton and family from Neosho, Missouri; aunts and uncles, Marion Guay (Constance), of Raymond, New Hampshire, Tracy Meyer (Vickie), of New Hampshire, Shelly McKinney, of Anderson, Missouri, Susan Stout, of Joplin, Missouri, Danny McKinney (Piper), of Pineville, Missouri, as well as many cousins, loved ones and friends who will dearly miss Aundrea.
There will be a celebration of her life at her mothers at a later date. We will post when we know more with the date and times. All her family and friends are welcome to attend.
