(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Christopher John-Patrick Hacker, 28, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on September 15, 2022. Christopher was born on December 21, 1993, in Yokosuka, Japan to Clarence E. Hacker and Patti A. (Davis) Hacker. His Lakota name was Hu Hu Napo Kte (Bone Bracelet).
Christopher graduated from York High School in Yorktown, Virginia with the Class of 2012. After graduation he started his own business, Hacker’s Handy Work. Christopher also completed three years of college with Southern New Hampshire University; studying Computer Animation and Game Design.
He had a passion for boxing and riding motorcycles. Christopher also enjoyed listening to music, being at the beach, and fishing. He was an avid Alabama football fan and loved playing video games.
Christopher is survived by his mom, Patti Hacker and (step)dad, Steven B. Edwards, both of Farmington, Arkansas; sisters, Cassandra Mae Hacker-Smith (Keisha) and Caryn Lee Hacker-Ehrsman (Tim); nephew, Dominic Cade-Edward Smith; niece, Jalynn T. Smith; Grandpa, Gary L. Hacker Sr. of St. Francis, South Dakota; Grandma, Violet M. Reddest of Carthage, Missouri; Sidney Reddest (Umps) of Rosebud, South Dakota; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Christopher will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 1, 2022, at the St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Carthage, Missouri. There will be a visitation on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage, Missouri. Christopher’s remains will be cremated and kept with his immediate family.
