(From Konantz Warden Funeral Home)Wilma “Jeanne” Davis passed away on Monday September 26, 2022. She was born on July 31, 1942, in Creston, IA to Helen (Brown) and Orie William Davis. She graduated from Creston High School in 1960 and attended Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO where she majored in music education. Jeanne had an artistic flair with crochet, floral arrangements, and hand crafts. She enjoyed playing the organ, piano, and her personal favorite was her accordion.
Jeanne owned a successful Day Care as she had a big heart for all children. She loved all of them like they were her own and often babysat her nieces, nephews, and neighbors throughout her life. She even enjoyed the children in her apartment in Polk City.
Jeanne worked for Amoco Oil Motor Club in West Des Moines, IA. When Amoco Oil moved, she decided to move south to warmer weather. She stayed a brief time in Lamar, MO before settling in Dallas, TX in 1995. She owned her own boutique selling crafts and floral arrangements. She worked for Army & Air Force Exchange Service in Dallas, TX until she retired in 2016. She returned to Iowa to live closer to her youngest sister and family.
She is survived by her siblings William and wife Darla Davis of Lamar, MO, Della Niehaus of New Whiteland, IN, and Marie Adkisson of Johnston, IA. She is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and other family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Tracey Adkisson.
The family will receive visitors on Monday October 3, 2022 from 10 AM to 11 AM at Konantz Warden Funeral Home. A service will follow at 11 AM.
