(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)Jacqulyn L. “Jacky” Hayes, of Willard, MO, departed this life on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, in her home at the age of 88.
She was born on April 2, 1934 in Blackwell, OK to Clarence and Lucille Welch. Jacky graduated from Lockwood High School.
She was united in marriage to Harvey Lee Hayes on January 22, 1954 in Lockwood, MO. Jacky was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved flowers and watching the birds. Jacky and her husband, Harvey, enjoyed touring the United States in their motorhome for 9 years.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Clarence and Lucille Welch; her husband, Harvey Hayes; one son, Racey Gene Hayes; and two sisters, Sandra Maize and Sue Lasater.
Survivors include two sons, Duke Hayes and wife Abi, and Neal Hayes and wife Michelle; one daughter, Tammy Leatherman and husband Ken; one brother, Dick Welch; two sisters, Becky Coose and Millie Daniels; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in Collins Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
