(From Clark Funeral Home)Jean Henry, age 92, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away at 7:40 a.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at her home. She was born April 14, 1930, in Pilot Point, Texas, to the late Ernest and Fontella (Broan) Daniels.
Jean was a 1948 graduate of Neosho High School. Following graduation, she resided in Kansas and returned to the Neosho area in 1973. Jean worked for McKean’s Paint and Wallpaper in Neosho and sold Brighten Your Home Interiors, retiring in 1990.
On July 2, 1982, she married Billy Guy Henry in Joplin, Missouri. He preceded her in death on August 27, 2021
Survivors include her daughter Traci Wise of Neosho, stepdaughter Tammie Hays of Stark City, Missouri, and two grandchildren, Tyler and Sydney Hays.
In addition to her husband and parents, her stepson, David Henry, and three sisters, Ludy Thomas, Louise Barclay, and Earnie Anderson, preceded her in death.
A private family graveside service will be held at Gibson Cemetery in Neosho, with Pastor Ron French officiating. Open viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23, in the Clark Funeral Home Chapel.
