Mike Moore

Michael Ray Moore, age 64, Joplin, passed away on Tuesday September 13, 2022 at his home.

Mike was born January 14, 1958 in Joplin, son of the late Jack R. Moore and Catherine M. (Hunter) Moore. He grew up in Joplin and graduated from Parkwood High School in 1976. 

He was a finish carpenter and worked for Dawson Cabinet Shop and Furniture in Webb City for years, and most recently was working on furniture repair on his own. 

He was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and studying the bible. He loved spending time with his family, and will be missed by many.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death a bother, Jackie Lynn Moore, and two sisters, Sandra Jo Moore and Suzanne Marie Nixon; also a brother-in-law, Joe Miller.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann (Miller) Moore; son, Brent Moore of Ozark, MO; step-son, Joshua King and wife Laura of Webb City, MO; four grandchildren; sister, Cynthia Jane Moore of Alba, MO, brothers-in-law, Lonnie Miller and wife Mary of Joplin, and Richard Miller and wife Nicole of Joplin; sister-in-law, Jeane Osborne and husband David of Carthage, MO; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at a later date at Joplin Full Gospel Church.
