(From Ozark Memorial Park Crematory)Jeffery Allen Leake gained his wings on September 15th, 2022. Jeff was born July 18th, 1957, to Jim and Jo Leake in Joplin, Missouri.
Jeff was a longtime owner of Jeff Leake Asphalt. He loved spending his time with his wife, his family, his friends, an ice-cold Coors Light, and whatever slot machine was winning. He was the most optimistic person you had ever met and never knew a stranger. He was very patriotic and loved putting on an amazing firework show every year.
Jeff married Jennie Wald on October 12th, 1974. Jennie put up with his B.S. for 47 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons – Jeffery “Bodie” and wife Leslie, Craig and wife Patricia. Grandchildren include Craig Stephen and wife Haylee, Harley and fiancé Brandon, Danielle, and Tyler. Great-grandchildren include Emma, Peyton, Eli and Kinslee. Siblings include Johnna Wald, Carl Junction, Mo, Jimmie Leake, Republic, Mo, Jill Harper, Rogersville, Mo, Jody (Kelly) Baumeister, Evans, Colorado, Jace (Anita) Leake, Bunnell, Florida, Jarrod (Shelia) Leake, Springfield, Mo, and Julia (Troy) Deck, Republic, Mo. As well as numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his special Meme, his parents, brother-in-law Mel, a nephew, and two nieces.
Services will be held at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery on Friday September 23, 2022, at 2:30 pm, and will be officiated by Denny Carver.
Jeff was my brother and was one of the nicest guys. You could meet we all will miss him badley
